Course Overview
This BA (Hons) Business Management and Finance degree gives you an overall knowledge of crucial factors within the business sector with a focus on accounting and finance and improving the financial performance of a business. Business is brought to life on our business management and finance degree with a focus on current real-world business and financial scenarios. You will work on live business projects and case studies to develop your confidence, business knowledge, financial acumen, entrepreneurial mindset, and resilience.
You will explore a range of topics such as finance, accounts, taxation, management, enterprise, information systems, market research, and marketing to provide you with a strong foundation of both finance and business management needed by employers today. Many of the jobs you will hold in the future don’t exist yet and this degree will teach you management fundamentals to deal with today’s complex and changing business landscape. It will also develop your financial focus, should you decide to progress your career in accounts and finance or extend your studies further to gain full Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) accreditation. Some of our modules have ACCA exemption.

Entry requirements
- UCAS – 96-112 tariff points from A levels or combination with AS / EPQ / BTEC/ Cambridge Technical.
- A-Levels- BBC-CCC
- BTEC/Cambridge Technical- DMM-MMM
- GCSEs- C or better in English language and mathematics.
- IB- 28 points
- Access to HE Diploma- Pass with at least 15 credits at Merit.
- IELTS- 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5.
