Course Overview
This BSc (Hons) Computing for the Business degree will prepare you for the growing range of jobs in the technology sector. The industry needs well-rounded graduates with advanced technical understanding, so this course covers technical modules and websites alongside broader topics relevant to a business such as marketing.
The tech industry is always growing, so some of your future careers and jobs may not exist yet. This course prepares you for a future in the technology industry by giving you a solid foundation in technical knowledge and developing your learning and softs skills. You will explore technical careers paths and managerial opportunities and have opportunities to attend various events including Hackaton at the Ministry of Defence. Previous students received a commendation for their innovative computer concept which used AI to support the British Armed Forces. In some modules you will work with a real client to deliver a product to their specifications, giving you real work experience and live projects to add to your CV when you graduate.

- UCAS – 96-112 tariff points from A levels or combination with AS / EPQ / BTEC/ Cambridge Technical
- A-Levels- BBC-CCC
- BTEC/Cambridge Technical DMM – MMM
- GCSEs C or better in English language and mathematics
- Access to HE Diploma Pass
- IB- 28 points with English Higher at 4
- IELTS- 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5
