Course Overview
Event management is the design, creation, implementation, and management of events, where events are a communications tool to assist organizations in achieving their corporate communications goals. This BA (Hons) Event Management degree explores all aspects of events management including risk management, marketing, finance, sponsorship, public relations, hospitality, stakeholder management, and creativity. You will study topics including tourism and events, management and organizations, event design and planning, project management, operations management, and marketing communications.
During this degree you will plan live and virtual events and work with real clients, experiencing the kind of work you could undertake after you graduate. You will study event theory and apply this knowledge to two assessed live events during your course. Past students have organized spectacular events including auctions, gala balls, award ceremonies, music festivals, fashion exhibitions, sports challenge events, game shows, and family fun days.

Entry requirements
- UCAS – 96-112 tariff points from A levels or combination with AS / EPQ / BTEC/ Cambridge Technical.
- A-Levels- BBC-CCC
- BTEC/Cambridge Technical- DMM-MMM
- GCSEs- C or better in English language and mathematics.
- IB- 28 points
- Access to HE Diploma- Pass with at least 15 credits at Merit.
- IELTS- 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5.
